How Ask AI helps council find answers in strata records.
What it is
Ask AI is a council chat that answers questions from your building’s indexed documents, contracts, reports, maintenance history, and selected global legal context.
Open it from the header/sidebar, with ⌘J / Ctrl+J, from search, or from a document upload nudge.
What you can do
- Ask plain-language questions (bylaws, AGM minutes, depreciation, operating fund, past work)
- Start a new conversation or continue an old one
- Delete conversations you no longer need
- Use starter prompts when you are not sure how to begin
Who can do it
Council on Pro (including beta/complimentary treated as Pro). Billing admins see an upgrade path when Ask AI is locked.

- Monthly question and token budgets apply — see Limits.
- Answers are only as good as the documents you have uploaded and indexed.
- Ask AI is not a lawyer and should not be treated as legal advice.
