Question and usage limits for Ask AI on Pro.
What it is
Ask AI is metered so one building cannot exhaust shared capacity unintentionally.
Typical limits
- About 500 questions per month
- A monthly token budget (on the order of 10 million tokens)
- A single question can be up to 4,000 characters

Who can do it
Council on Pro. Usage visibility: council admins and billing viewers.
Limits and things to know
- Hitting the cap pauses further Ask AI until the period resets or your plan/support changes it.
- A conversation only carries the last 10 messages forward. In a long back-and-forth, earlier turns drop out of context, so repeat any detail you still need.
- Long conversations and large document contexts consume more of the token budget per question.
