Push notifications
How council gets approval vote alerts on the installed mobile app.
What it is
Council members can receive web push notifications for card approval votes when the mobile app is installed and push is allowed.
What you can do
- Accept the push prompt in the mobile app
- Turn push on or off in
/m/settings - Tap a notification to open the relevant maintenance card
- Rely on the app badge for pending votes where supported
Strata admins still control which roles are eligible for push in Settings → Notifications on desktop.
Who can do it
Council. Residents do not get approval-vote push.
Limits and things to know
- iPhone requires Add to Home Screen from Safari.
- Push is for operational approval events — not every email type has a push twin.
- If push is off for your user, you may still receive email depending on strata routing.
