Installing on iPhone and Android

What it is

Pleno installs from the browser — there is no separate App Store binary required for the current PWA.

iPhone (Safari)

1. Sign in at pleno.ca in Safari (not an in-app browser).
2. Use Share → Add to Home Screen.
3. Open Pleno from the new icon so it runs standalone.

iOS push notifications require the installed home-screen app, not a Safari tab.

Android (Chrome and similar)

1. Sign in at pleno.ca.
2. Use the browser’s Install app / Add to Home screen prompt (Pleno may show its own install overlay).
3. Open from the icon for the mobile shell.

Who can do it

Any signed-in user. Council members are the ones who benefit most from push for approval votes.

Limits and things to know

• If you only use a regular browser tab, you get the responsive site, not the full /m shell.
• The first time a council member opens the mobile app, Pleno may send them a one-time email with install guidance. Residents do not get it.
