Locations, tags, and recurrence

How locations, tags, and recurring work keep the board organized.

What it is

Cards use shared building vocabulary so filters, timeline, and reports stay consistent.

Locations

Locations come from presets configured in Settings → Presets (common areas, residential areas, buildings). A card can have one or more locations. You can also split a card by location when work needs to diverge.

Tags

Tags are building-defined labels (for example, “elevator”, “leak”, “capital”). Filter the board with OR/AND tag logic. Admins manage the tag list in Settings → Presets, and only admins can delete a tag. Anyone who can edit a card can apply existing tags or type a new tag name, which creates it when the card is saved.

Recurrence

Recurring cards represent work that repeats on a schedule. Set recurrence when creating or editing a card so follow-ups are not lost after the current cycle finishes.

Who can do it

Anyone who can edit cards can apply locations, tags, and recurrence, and can add a new tag while saving a card. Deleting tags, and managing buildings and other presets, is an admin task.

Limits and things to know

  • Reports also use locations — keep presets accurate so residents pick the right place.
  • Tag filters are for discovery; they do not replace status columns.
