How to create a Pleno account for your building or join a strata that is already on Pleno.

What it is

Everyone starts at Sign up. You look up your building by street address or BCS plan number, then create an account. What happens next depends on whether your strata is already on Pleno.

What you can do

Find your strata

  1. Go to Sign up.
  2. Search by address or plan number.
  3. Choose the matching building from the results.

Create a new strata account

If your building is not on Pleno yet, you can create it. The founding user must accept a council declaration and becomes the first president for that strata.

After email verification you land on the maintenance board and can invite the rest of council.

Join an existing strata

If your building is already on Pleno, signup creates a resident account after you verify your email. You can submit reports and see documents the council has made available to residents.

If you check I'm a council member when joining, Pleno emails council admins. That does not grant council access by itself — the president or vice president still has to promote you in Members.

  • Council invite — opens an activation page with your role already assigned
  • Resident invite — opens signup with building and unit pre-filled

Add another building

If you already have a Pleno account, use signup with the add-building option, or switch buildings after sign-in when you belong to more than one strata.

Who can do it

Anyone with a valid email can sign up. Creating a new strata requires accepting the council declaration. Joining as a resident does not require admin approval.

Limits and things to know

  • Email verification is required before the account is active.
  • Strata plan number, building, and unit number are all required.
  • There is a rate limit on how many new strata accounts one email can create in a short period.
  • The old Request access page redirects to signup — self-serve signup is the normal path.
  • Platform staff may still review marketing or beta access requests separately; that is not part of day-to-day resident signup.
