Forwarding email into Pleno
Send building email into Pleno to create draft maintenance cards.
What it is
Each building can have an inbound address for email-to-card. Forwarding a vendor or resident email to that address creates a draft maintenance card for Needs review.
What you can do
- Find the building-specific inbound address from the maintenance email banner / email-to-card UI
- Forward messages that should become tracked work
- Publish the resulting draft, or discard it on desktop (discarding is not available on mobile)
Who can do it
Council on plans that include email forwarding. The forward also has to come from an address Pleno recognises as that council member’s — if you send from another address, Pleno rejects the message and emails you back. Operating the resulting drafts follows normal maintenance permissions.
Limits and things to know
- Free does not include email-to-card the way paid plans do.
- Standard can receive forwards (including stub drafts if AI caps are hit).
- Pro adds AI extraction from the email body and attachments.
- Forwarding is not a full mailbox sync.
