The document library
Browse, search, and open the files your strata keeps in Pleno.
What it is
Documents is the strata’s file library: bylaws, minutes, financials, insurance, correspondence, and more. Open Documents from the main nav (or the Documents tab in the mobile app).
What you can do
- Browse uploaded files
- Search and filter by category and date
- Open or download a file
- See indexing status when AI search is available on your plan
- If a file shows Indexing failed, the line under it says why and what happens next. When the problem was passing (the AI service didn't respond, say), Pleno tries it again overnight, up to three runs in all. Admins (president, VP, delegated PM) can use Retry indexing in the row menu to try once more straight away
- On mobile, search by name and tap a file to open it in the app: images and PDFs show a preview when your phone supports it, with Open document and, for council on Pro, Ask AI about this file
Who can do it
All signed-in members can open Documents, but what residents can see is limited. Uploads and category management are for admins (president, VP, delegated PM).
Limits and things to know
- There is no monthly document cap on any plan, including Free.
- Categories work on every plan.
- Search finds documents by name on every plan. Searching inside a document's contents, and Ask AI, need Pro.
- In the mobile app, admins (president, VP, delegated PM) upload one file at a time with the upload button at the top of Documents. Categories and bulk uploads are on desktop.
