Invoice and financial statement extraction
Pull invoices out of financial PDFs and attach them to maintenance cards.
What it is
Pleno can pull the invoices inside a statement PDF into structured rows you can review and attach to cards. Uploading a PDF to the Financial category starts extraction automatically; for any other PDF you start it yourself from the document row menu.
What you can do
- Upload a financial statement
- Run or continue Extract invoices from the row menu of any PDF
- Review and edit extracted rows in the review sheet
- Search extracts and attach them to maintenance cards
- Detach extracts when they no longer belong
Who can do it
Council admins only — running extraction, searching extracts, attaching them to cards, and detaching them all require admin permission. There is no monthly extraction quota, AI budget, or plan tier requirement: the checks are admin permission, the document being a PDF, and your account not being read-only for billing reasons.
Limits and things to know
- Extraction quality depends on the PDF; always review before relying on amounts.
- Extraction is not metered on Settings → Usage.
- This is separate from the Pro document import API, which can propose cards/reports from text and is not a full in-app importer yet.
