Managing incoming reports
How council reviews, filters, and triages resident submissions.
What it is
Council uses Reports to triage everything coming in from residents (and from council itself). Active and archived views keep recent work separate from older history.
What you can do
- Browse Active reports (recent activity plus anything still needing review)
- Open Archived for older items
- Filter by category, unit, author, date, or “Needs review only”
- Open a report to edit details, add notes, attach documents, and mark reviewed
- Promote into maintenance when the issue becomes tracked work
Who can do it
Council members can browse and open reports. Marking a report reviewed uses the same Needs review rule as draft triage: council admins always, plus all council members when the strata setting allows. Residents only see their own submissions.
Limits and things to know
- Active focuses on the last 90 days plus pending Needs review items; older items move to Archived.
- Marking reviewed is triage — it does not by itself create a maintenance card.
- Notification routing for new resident reports is configured in Settings → Notifications.
